Looking for Alumni to share their experience with high school students
In partnership with the association Les Entretiens de l'Excellence, the Equal Opportunity Center at the Institut Polytechnique de Paris is organizing an orientation event to be held on Saturday December 13, 2025, from 12pm to 7:30pm, on the École Polytechnique campus in Palaiseau.
This event is aimed at 700 middle and high school students, supported by IP Paris schools via the national Cordées de la réussite scheme or by the Les Entretiens de l'Excellence association. The aim is to help them discover the opportunities offered by science and engineering schools, through testimonials from professionals working in these fields.
In this context, we are looking for ENSTA graduates who would like to share their background and experience with these students. The one-hour exchanges will take place in small groups, around 12 sector-based themes:
- Aerospace
- Construction and architecture
- Business creation and management
- Defense and security
- Education and research
- Finance, banking and insurance
- Ecological transition professions
- Digital and artificial intelligence
- Politics, public interest, social and humanitarian affairs
- Health
- Science, industry and technology
- Supply chain, transport and logistics
Course of the afternoon :
- 12:00-13:00: welcome speakers and lunch at Polytechnique
- 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm: last students are welcomed and set up
- 1:30 pm-2:00 pm: Opening plenary session
- 2:45pm-3:45pm: First discussion session
- 3:45pm-4:15pm: snack break
- 4:15pm-5:15pm: second discussion session
- 5:30pm-7:30pm: Closing cocktail with speakers
