Two ENSTA teams take part in the FWC international floating wind turbine challenge

From July 7 to 11, two teams of ENSTA students (Paris-Saclay campus and Brest campus) were in Zeebrugge (Belgium) to test their floating wind turbine prototypes. The 2 projects were selected as finalists in the international "Floating Wind Challenge" competition.

Electronic chips are at the heart of our everyday devices. To guarantee their reliability, Quentin Tual is devoting his thesis to the detection of Trojan horses, malicious alterations that can be introduced during design or manufacture, in order to reinforce security and technological sovereignty.

An ENSTA researcher at the interface between art and science

As part of the 5th edition of the arts and sciences summer school "Useful Fictions", ENSTA teacher-researcher Olivier Doaré will be co-leading a multidisciplinary creative workshop from August 25, the results of which will be presented in the hall of the Pôle de Mécanique on August 29, then at the Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles from September 4 to 6.

A "learning by doing" course on the challenges of reparability and product life cycles

Like DIY*, this course dedicated to the circular economy and product lifecycle analysis invites apprentice engineers to roll up their sleeves. In small groups, they find a faulty everyday object, identify the fault and try to repair it.

Becoming an engineer in the 21st century

What are the new responsibilities of engineers in a world beset by climatic, geopolitical and social upheaval? This is the question to which this Manuel de l'ingénieur du XXIe siècle provides answers, combining the views of philosophers, economists, scientists and business leaders, under the coordination of Pierre-Jean Cottalorda, director of ENSTA's forthcoming general engineering curriculum.

Head in the stars with Spacieta

Throughout the year, the student-engineers in the Spacieta club have been busy putting the finishing touches to their rockets. These were launched at the beginning of July during C'Space, a challenge organized by CNES and Planète Sciences.

Record year for TAEP

With a 34% increase in sales, TAEP, the Junior Enterprise of ENSTA's Paris-Saclay campus, has, in the space of just one year, put the finishing touches to the dynamic begun 3 years ago. These excellent results mean that the new team can look forward with confidence to the crucial tasks ahead as part of the new two-campus ENSTA.

New for 2025, this was the first parade of the new ENSTA.
