I first took a master's degree in oceanography and climate at Sorbonne University, in parallel with my third year at ENSTA, thanks to existing agreements between the school and certain master's programs. As part of this, I did my internship at CEA Saclay, in the climate and environmental sciences laboratory (LSCE), where Valérie Masson-Delmotte, Jean Jouzel and Robert Vautard, all former or current IPCC vice-presidents [....] I then did a one-year post-doctorate at the University of Louvain-la-Neuve in Belgium, followed by a two-year post-doctorate at CERFACS in Toulouse, at the Météopole, associated with Météo France. I was then recruited by CNRS as a research fellow in 2009, and returned to LSCE for 4 years. I then applied for a transfer to the EPOC laboratory in Bordeaux, in particular to follow my wife. I applied to take part in the IPCC's special report on the ocean and cryosphere, which was published in 2019. Promoted to research director, I am actively pursuing my research into...
